Secure the cloud you actually run .

The cloud provider secures the platform; securing what you put on it is your job — and one misconfiguration is all it takes. Billow's cloud security services and cloud security posture management (CSPM) continuously find and fix the misconfigurations, over-permissive access and compliance gaps across AWS, Azure and Google Cloud.

Overview

What is cloud security, and what is CSPM?

Cloud security is the set of controls that protect your data, applications and infrastructure in the cloud; cloud security posture management (CSPM) is the continuous monitoring that finds the misconfigurations and risks before an attacker does. The two go together — you can't secure a cloud you can't continuously see.

The reason cloud security is different comes down to the shared responsibility model. The provider secures the underlying platform, but everything you put on it — configurations, identities, access, data — is your responsibility. And misconfiguration, not sophisticated hacking, is the leading cause of cloud breaches: a storage bucket left public, an over-permissive role, a security group open to the world. These aren't exotic attacks; they're mistakes, and they happen constantly as environments change.

Billow secures your cloud across AWS, Azure and Google Cloud — CSPM to catch misconfigurations and compliance drift, workload protection (CWPP) for your running systems, and entitlement management (CIEM) to rein in excessive access. Increasingly we deliver this as CNAPP: one platform unifying posture, workload and identity security across your whole cloud estate.

What's included

Full-stack cloud protection

Our cloud security services cover the whole cloud attack surface — posture, workloads, identities, data and compliance across every platform you run.

Posture management (CSPM)

Continuous scanning for misconfigurations, exposed resources and compliance drift — with prioritized, actionable fixes.

Workload protection (CWPP)

Protection for VMs, containers and serverless — vulnerability scanning, runtime defense and hardening for what's running.

Entitlement management (CIEM)

Find and right-size excessive cloud permissions, so every identity has least-privilege access — the top cloud risk.

Compliance & benchmarks

Continuous checks against CIS, NIST, SOC 2 and other benchmarks, with reporting that proves your cloud is compliant.

CNAPP & unified visibility

One platform correlating posture, workload and identity risk across AWS, Azure and Google Cloud — not stitched-together tools.

Cloud threat detection

Detect active threats in your cloud — anomalous API calls, privilege escalation, data exfiltration — and respond fast.

Why cloud security

Most cloud breaches are self-inflicted.

Not clever attacks — misconfigurations. A public bucket, an open port, a role with too much power. The cloud changes constantly, so these gaps open constantly. CSPM is how you catch them continuously instead of discovering them in a breach report.

Catch drift continuously

Cloud config changes daily. Continuous posture management catches the new gap the moment it opens, not months later.

Rein in access

Excessive cloud permissions are the biggest hidden risk. CIEM finds and right-sizes them to least privilege.

One view, every cloud

Consistent security posture and standards across AWS, Azure and Google Cloud — not a different tool per platform.

Provable compliance

Continuous benchmark checks and reporting give you audit-ready evidence for CIS, NIST, SOC 2 and more.

How we engage

From assessment to managed cloud

01

Assess

We scan your cloud environments and surface the misconfigurations, excessive access and compliance gaps that exist today.

02

Remediate

We fix the highest-risk findings first — public exposure, over-permissive roles — and harden your baseline configuration.

03

Monitor

Continuous CSPM/CNAPP watches for new drift and threats across every cloud, alerting and prioritizing as things change.

04

Govern

Guardrails, policy-as-code and compliance reporting keep your cloud secure by default as it grows.

FAQ

Cloud security questions

Cloud security is the set of controls, technologies and practices that protect your data, applications and infrastructure in the cloud. It spans securing configurations, identities and entitlements, workloads and network, across AWS, Azure and Google Cloud. Because the cloud operates on a shared responsibility model, securing what you put in the cloud is your job — not the provider's.
CSPM (cloud security posture management) continuously monitors your cloud environments for misconfigurations, compliance violations and risks — like a storage bucket left public or an over-permissive role. Because misconfiguration is the leading cause of cloud breaches, CSPM finds and helps fix these gaps automatically, before an attacker does.
The shared responsibility model defines who secures what in the cloud. The provider (AWS, Azure, Google) secures the underlying infrastructure — "security of the cloud" — while you are responsible for securing what you put in it: your data, configurations, identities and access. Most cloud breaches happen on the customer's side of that line, which is exactly what our cloud security services address.
CNAPP (Cloud-Native Application Protection Platform) is an integrated approach that combines CSPM, workload protection (CWPP) and entitlement management (CIEM) into one platform. Rather than stitching together separate tools, CNAPP gives unified visibility and protection across your cloud infrastructure, workloads and identities.
Yes. We deliver cloud security across AWS, Azure and Google Cloud, including multi-cloud environments — giving you consistent posture management, misconfiguration detection and compliance across every platform from one place, rather than a different tool and standard for each.
