Overview

What is unified endpoint management?

Unified endpoint management (UEM) is managing and securing all your devices — laptops, desktops, phones and tablets, across every operating system — from a single platform. It brings mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM) together, so IT configures, secures and updates any device from one console instead of a different tool per platform.

The reason it matters is that the device is where security meets the real world. A lost laptop, an unpatched phone, a personal tablet with company email — each is a way in. Modern device management closes those gaps: every device enrolled, configured to policy, kept compliant, and wipeable if it's lost, whether the company owns it or an employee does. And it does this without the old pain of manual imaging, thanks to zero-touch provisioning like Windows Autopilot.

Billow delivers UEM built on Microsoft Intune — enrollment, configuration, security policy, app deployment and compliance across Windows, macOS, iOS and Android. We handle full device management for corporate hardware and app-level management (MAM) for BYOD, so personal devices stay private while company data stays protected.

What's included

Every device, from enrollment to wipe

Our device management services cover the full endpoint lifecycle — provisioning, configuration, security and support across every platform your people use.

Zero-touch provisioning

Windows Autopilot and Apple/Android enrollment so new devices set themselves up — shipped straight to the user, no imaging.

Device configuration (MDM)

Enroll and configure Windows, macOS, iOS and Android to policy with Microsoft Intune — settings, apps and controls, standardized.

App management (MAM)

Manage and protect corporate apps and data at the app level — the key to securing BYOD without controlling the whole device.

Compliance & conditional access

Enforce device compliance and tie it to conditional access — only healthy, managed devices reach company data.

Patch & update management

Keep every endpoint patched and current automatically — closing the vulnerabilities that unmanaged devices leave open.

BYOD & lost-device response

Secure personal devices and act fast when one goes missing — selective wipe of company data, device retirement and lockout.

Why device management

Every unmanaged device is an open door.

The endpoint is where your security perimeter actually lives now. A device you can't see, patch or wipe is a risk you can't control — UEM turns that sprawl into a managed, compliant, defensible fleet.

One console, every OS

Windows, macOS, iOS and Android managed from a single platform — no separate tool and standard for each device type.

Provision in minutes

Autopilot and zero-touch enrollment mean a new hire is productive on day one — no IT imaging, no shipping delays.

Only healthy devices connect

Compliance plus conditional access ensures only patched, managed, trusted devices ever reach your company data.

BYOD without overreach

Protect company data on personal phones without managing the whole device — security and employee privacy both intact.

How we engage

From assessment to managed cloud

01

Assess

We inventory your devices and current management — what's enrolled, what's not, and where the security and compliance gaps are.

02

Design & enroll

We design your Intune policies and enrollment approach — corporate and BYOD — and bring every device under management.

03

Secure

We apply configuration, compliance and conditional access so only healthy, policy-compliant devices reach company data.

04

Operate

Ongoing provisioning, patching, app deployment and lost-device response keep the fleet managed as it grows and changes.

FAQ

Device management questions

Unified endpoint management (UEM) is managing and securing all your devices — laptops, desktops, phones and tablets across Windows, macOS, iOS and Android — from one platform. It combines mobile device management (MDM) and mobile application management (MAM) so IT can configure, secure, update and, if needed, wipe any device from a single console.
Microsoft Intune is Microsoft's cloud-based unified endpoint management platform, part of Microsoft 365. It handles device enrollment, configuration, security policy, app deployment and compliance across Windows, macOS, iOS and Android — and integrates tightly with Entra ID and Microsoft 365 for identity-driven, conditional access.
MDM (mobile device management) manages the whole device — enrollment, configuration and security of the hardware. MAM (mobile application management) manages just the corporate apps and data on a device, without controlling the device itself. MAM is ideal for BYOD, where you protect company data on a personal phone without managing the whole phone.
Windows Autopilot is a Microsoft service that automates setting up new Windows devices. A device can be shipped straight to an employee, who turns it on and signs in — and it configures itself with your policies, apps and security, with no manual imaging by IT. It's how modern device provisioning works at scale.
Yes. We use application management (MAM) and conditional access to protect corporate data on personal devices without taking over the whole device — so employees keep their privacy and you keep your data secure. It's the balance BYOD needs to work.
