Endpoint security that stops the breach at the device .

Every laptop, server and phone is a way in. Billow's endpoint security and EDR services protect them all — next-gen antivirus to block known threats, endpoint detection and response to catch the ones that get through, and managed monitoring to contain incidents before they spread.

Overview

What is endpoint security, and what is EDR?

Endpoint security is the practice of protecting the devices that connect to your network — laptops, desktops, servers and mobile — from cyber threats; EDR (endpoint detection and response) is the technology that watches those devices for suspicious behavior and lets you respond fast. Together they defend the place most attacks actually land: the endpoint.

Traditional antivirus asks one question — "is this a known threat?" — and blocks it if the signature matches. That's necessary but no longer sufficient: modern attacks use novel malware, fileless techniques and stolen credentials that no signature catches. EDR asks a different question — "is this behavior suspicious?" — so it spots the intruder already inside, and gives your team the power to isolate a compromised device in seconds.

Billow delivers endpoint protection that combines both: next-gen antivirus to stop what it can, endpoint detection and response to catch what it can't, and managed EDR/MDR so a specialist team is watching and responding around the clock. For organizations that want a fuller picture, we extend it to XDR — correlating endpoint signals with email, identity, network and cloud.

What's included

Prevent, detect, respond — on every device

Our endpoint security services cover the full defense — stopping what can be stopped, catching what gets through, and containing anything that lands.

Next-gen antivirus (NGAV)

Signature and AI-based prevention that blocks known malware and common attacks before they ever execute on a device.

Endpoint detection & response (EDR)

Continuous behavioral monitoring that catches novel, fileless and living-off-the-land attacks traditional antivirus misses.

Managed EDR / MDR

Our team deploys, monitors and responds to threats 24/7 — enterprise-grade detection and response without your own SOC.

XDR & threat correlation

Extend detection beyond the endpoint — correlating signals across email, identity, network and cloud for the full picture.

Device management & hardening

Configuration, patching and hardening across laptops, servers and mobile, so devices are secure by default, not by luck.

Threat hunting & response

Proactive hunting for hidden threats, plus rapid incident response to isolate compromised devices and stop the spread.

Why endpoint security

Prevention alone always lets something through.

No filter blocks 100% of attacks — so the question isn't just how to keep threats out, but how fast you spot and stop the ones that get in. Endpoint security is built around that reality: detect and respond, don't just prevent and hope.

Catches what AV misses

Behavioral EDR spots novel, fileless and credential-based attacks that signature antivirus was never designed to see.

Contain in seconds

A compromised device can be isolated from the network instantly — stopping an incident before it becomes a breach.

Watched around the clock

Managed EDR/MDR means specialists are monitoring and responding 24/7 — attacks don't wait for business hours.

The full picture with XDR

Correlating endpoint, email, identity and cloud signals turns scattered alerts into one clear story of what's happening.

Platforms

EDR platforms we work with

We deploy and manage the leading endpoint security platforms — and recommend the right fit for your environment rather than forcing one.

MDE

Microsoft Defender

Defender for Endpoint · XDR

Endpoint protection and EDR built into the Microsoft stack — a natural fit for Microsoft 365 and Entra ID estates.
CRW

CrowdStrike

Falcon EDR · XDR

Cloud-native, best-in-class EDR and threat intelligence — lightweight agent, strong detection and rapid response.
SNL

SentinelOne

Autonomous EDR/XDR

AI-driven detection and automated response across endpoints — with rollback and strong protection against ransomware.

How we engage

From assessment to managed cloud

01

Assess

We inventory your endpoints and review current protection — coverage gaps, unmanaged devices and detection blind spots.

02

Deploy

We roll out the right EDR/NGAV platform across every device, tuned to your environment to minimize noise and false positives.

03

Monitor

Managed detection and response takes over — 24/7 monitoring, threat hunting and rapid containment of anything suspicious.

04

Improve

We tune detections, review incidents and harden devices over time — so protection keeps pace with the threat landscape.

FAQ

Endpoint security questions

Endpoint security is the practice of protecting the devices that connect to your network — laptops, desktops, servers and mobile devices — from cyber threats. Because every endpoint is a potential entry point for an attacker, it combines prevention (blocking known threats), detection (spotting suspicious behavior) and response (containing incidents fast).
EDR (endpoint detection and response) is technology that continuously monitors endpoints for suspicious activity, detects threats that slip past traditional antivirus, and enables rapid investigation and response — including isolating a compromised device. Where antivirus asks "is this a known threat?", EDR asks "is this behavior suspicious?", catching novel and fileless attacks.
EDR is the endpoint detection-and-response technology. MDR (managed detection and response) is EDR delivered as a managed service, with a team monitoring and responding around the clock. XDR (extended detection and response) broadens the scope beyond endpoints to correlate signals across email, network, identity and cloud for a fuller picture.
No. Traditional antivirus only blocks known threats by signature, so it misses novel malware, fileless attacks and living-off-the-land techniques. Modern endpoint protection combines next-gen antivirus with EDR — behavioral detection and rapid response — because prevention alone will always let some threats through.
Yes. Our managed EDR/MDR service means our team deploys, monitors and responds to endpoint threats 24/7 on your behalf — so you get enterprise-grade detection and response without staffing a security operations team yourself.
