Zero Trust security that assumes breach .

The old "trust everything inside the network" model is dead. Billow's Zero Trust services help you design and implement a Zero Trust architecture identity-first access, least privilege, microsegmentation and continuous verification so every user, device and request is verified, never assumed.

Overview

What is Zero Trust?

Zero Trust is a security model that assumes no user, device or request is trustworthy by default — every access attempt is verified, authorized and continuously checked, regardless of where it originates. It replaces the old idea of a trusted internal network with a simple rule: never trust, always verify.

The perimeter model no longer works. With cloud, SaaS and remote work, there is no clean "inside" to trust — attackers who get one foothold move laterally with ease. Zero Trust removes that implicit trust: it verifies identity on every request, grants the least privilege necessary, segments the network so a breach cannot spread, and keeps checking continuously rather than once at login.

Billow designs and implements Zero Trust as a staged program, not a product you buy. We start with the highest-impact controls — strong identity, MFA and least privilege — then layer in microsegmentation, Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) and continuous monitoring. The result is a Zero Trust architecture that shrinks your attack surface and contains the damage when something does get through.

What's included

A Zero Trust model, built layer by layer

Our Zero Trust services cover the whole architecture — every pillar of "never trust, always verify," sequenced so the biggest risks close first.

Zero Trust assessment & roadmap

We map your current trust assumptions and gaps against a Zero Trust model, and build a prioritized, staged roadmap.

Identity-first access (MFA, SSO)

Strong authentication and identity are the core of Zero Trust — MFA, SSO and conditional access verify every user on every request.

Least privilege & policy

Access is granted by policy, minimally and just-in-time, so a compromised account can reach almost nothing.

Microsegmentation

We segment the network so workloads and users are isolated — a breach in one place cannot spread across the estate.

Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA)

ZTNA replaces flat VPN access with per-app, identity-based access — users reach only what they are allowed to, and apps stay hidden.

Continuous verification & monitoring

Trust is re-evaluated continuously on signals like device health and behavior — not granted once and forgotten.

Why Zero Trust

Trust is a vulnerability.

Every place your systems assume trust is a place an attacker can abuse it. Zero Trust removes those assumptions — verifying continuously, granting the least access, and containing anything that slips through.

Assume breach

Designing as if attackers are already inside means one foothold does not become a full compromise.

Small blast radius

Least privilege and segmentation mean a breached account or workload can reach almost nothing.

Secure remote & cloud

Zero Trust fits a world with no perimeter — protecting users, SaaS and cloud wherever they are.

Verify continuously

Access is re-checked on live signals, so trust is never permanent and risk is caught as it changes.

Continuous monitoring and policy tuning keep verification live Zero Trust is maintained, not finished.

FAQ

Zero Trust questions

Zero Trust is a security model that assumes no user, device or request is trustworthy by default — every access attempt is verified, authorized and continuously checked, regardless of where it originates. Instead of trusting anything inside the network perimeter, Zero Trust enforces 'never trust, always verify' across identity, devices, networks, applications and data.
Zero Trust architecture is the design that puts the Zero Trust model into practice — strong identity and authentication, least-privilege access, microsegmentation of the network, device health checks and continuous monitoring. Rather than a single product, it is an architecture that layers these controls so every request is verified against policy before access is granted.
Zero Trust Network Access (ZTNA) gives users secure access to specific applications based on identity and policy, instead of placing them on the network like a traditional VPN. Users only reach what they are explicitly allowed to, access is verified continuously, and applications stay hidden from anyone who is not authorized — shrinking the attack surface dramatically.
We implement Zero Trust in stages, not a big bang. We assess your environment, prioritize the highest-impact controls (usually identity, MFA and least privilege first), then layer in microsegmentation, ZTNA and continuous monitoring over time. Each stage reduces risk on its own, so you get value early and build toward a full Zero Trust architecture.
Zero Trust is a journey, not a one-off project — but you see results quickly. High-impact controls like MFA and least-privilege access can be in place in weeks, while microsegmentation and full ZTNA roll out over months as part of a sequenced roadmap. We prioritize by risk so the biggest gaps close first.
